Getting them is easier than you’d think. Like most things in Worldbox, all it takes is a bit of setup and a couple of key achievements.

Step One: Preparing to Unlock Guns in Worldbox

Before you can get the shotgun in Worldbox, you’ll need to unlock two things: the Crystal Sword and the Assimilator.
Getting the Crystal Sword is simple: create a crystal biome, watch one spawn, click it, and you’ve unlocked it. You can now summon them whenever you like. Unlocking Assimilators is even easier. Drop a Cybercore anywhere, wait a few seconds, and a few will appear. Click them too, and you’re set.

Step Two: How to Unlock the Gunblade 2.0 Achievement

Now it’s time for the real fun. Pause the game, spawn a single Assimilator, and surround it with several Crystal Swords. I recommend doing this inside an arena or behind a mountain wall to keep things contained.
Before letting the battle begin, edit the Crystal Swords’ species and add the Prefrontal Cortex subspecies trait. That’s what allows them to actually pick up guns. Once that’s done, unpause and watch the fight unfold. When one of your Crystal Swords defeats the Assimilator, it’ll grab the weapon, unlocking the Gunblade 2.0 achievement. From that point on, you’ll be able to spawn the shotgun in Worldbox directly using the Loot Ray or Equipment Editor.

To get the King of Kings achievement in WorldBox, start small, literally. Create the smallest world possible, spawn an orc, and tweak the world laws. Turn off hunger and aging to make your life easier. Now open the orc’s editor and stack him with as many positive traits as you can.

Once he starts building a village, he officially becomes a king. That’s your cue. Use the Smooth Jazz power to make him spawn children; those orclings will inherit some of his traits. You’ll probably find one that has twelve or even thirteen traits already. Keep that one and remove the rest, this guarantees your chosen orc becomes king.

Step Two: Add the Rare Traits

Now comes the grindy but fun part. Drop your orc king into an enclosed arena, mountains or walls work fine. Bless him to reduce the odds of accidental death, then save your game (you’ll thank yourself later). Stop time and spawn an Evil Mage. To make the fight fair, give the mage weak traits or even melt him a bit with acid.

Next, equip your orc with good armor and a weapon, a bow or shotgun if possible (learn how to get it here), using the Loot Rain ability. When ready, unpause and watch your orc destroy the mage. This adds the Mageslayer trait. Heal him up with Blood Rain, then do the same with a Dragon for an extra trait.

After that, spawn a human, let him build his own kingdom, and bring him into the arena. When your orc takes him down, he’ll gain the Kingslayer trait, another step toward unlocking the King of Kings achievement.

Step Three: Stack and Secure 20 Traits

At this stage, your orc should have around 17 or 18 traits, especially if the Evil Mage burned him (which grants the Skin Burns trait). If you’re short, don’t panic; there are plenty of ways to hit 20.

Spawn some grasshoppers and kill them to gain the Veteran trait. Then, use Shield Power on your orc and repeatedly strike him with Lightning until he gains Immortality and Energized traits. It’s about a 20% chance per strike, so stay patient. This is also a neat trick if you just want to gain Immortality in Worldbox.

Once he’s immortal, wait a bit, aging eventually adds the Wise trait. If you still need more, spawn weak elves to attack your orc. Every hit has a 2% chance to grant Crippled or One-Eyed. Keep him alive with Blood Rain, and you’ll easily cross the twenty-trait mark.

Pro tip: Do not use Madness. It’ll strip his title and void the achievement. You can, however, try Zombie Infection or Mush Spores.

So here’s the fastest way to the galactic core, a shortcut-packed method that works even in Permadeath mode.

Quick Checklist: Fastest Way to the Galactic Core

• Unlock the Anomaly to access upgrade blueprints and core travel features.
• Collect Nanites early by scanning and uploading discoveries; you’ll need them for tech.
• Buy Cadmium and Emeril Drives to travel through red and green star systems.
• Find a Traveler in a space station and pay 100 Nanites for their grave location.
• Unlock your first portal glyph — it’s all you need for this fast way to the Galactic Core method.
• Get a Planetary Chart from a Cartographer to locate a Monolith and reveal a portal.
• Use the portal with your glyph to warp close to the galactic center.
• Install warp upgrades and make short jumps toward the galactic core.

By the time the Anomaly unlocks, you should have enough nanites to grab the Cadmium Drive and Emeril Drive blueprints. These two are crucial if you want the fastest way to the galactic core, since they let you warp through restricted star systems later on.

Step 2: Find a Traveler to Get to Galactic Center Faster

Next, hunt down a Traveler, those ghostly, holographic beings you see in space stations. Jump from one to another until you spot one. While you’re there, pick up a cheap ship and an extra multi-tool to keep your main gear safe later.

When you find a Traveler, pay 100 Nanites for the location of the Unknown Grave. Go there and unlock your first portal glyph. That one symbol is all you need for this fast way to galactic core route.

Step 3: How to Find Teleport in No Man’s Sky and Locate a Portal

Now we’re getting to the good part: how to find teleport in No Man’s Sky that gets you close to the galactic core. You’ve got two options:

• Fly low and hope you randomly spot a portal.
• Or, better idea, buy a Planetary Chart from the Cartographer on a space station.

Use those charts until you uncover a Monolith. Answer correctly, and it’ll give you portal coordinates.

Get to Galactic Core on Permadeath

Playing on Permadeath? It’s still doable. You just have to stay sharp. Systems drain faster, hazards hit harder, and every mistake counts. Keep life support and hazard modules ready, move efficiently, and don’t waste time wandering.

With this strategy, you can get to galactic core on permadeath in under five hours if you stay focused. It’s dangerous, but that’s part of the fun.

Optional: Reach the Center of Galaxy Using Player Teleports

If you’d rather skip all that, you can just use another player’s teleporter. A lot of veteran travelers have bases near the galactic core, and you can warp to them instantly.

Ask around the Anomaly, someone always has a base near the galactic center. Use their teleporter, and boom, you’ve basically reached it without any grind.
